About Me

Hi, I’m Elise!  2012 was a big year for me.  I married my high school sweetheart, graduated college, we settled into our first real apartment, and I began my first real job search!  Having some down time gave me an opportunity to spend more time in the kitchen, which has led me to truly unlock my passion for food!  The only downfall?  It is way too hard to maintain and organize all of the recipes I experiment with.  For that reason, this blog was born.  I have found a space where I can organize all of my recipes, share them with the like-minded, and meet lots of amazing people!  Even though I’m working (a lot!) now, I try to spend my free time baking yummy treats or dreaming up new recipes to try!

  1. It’s so funny that you say you can never keep track of your recipes! My boyfriend is forever after me to save the recipes I use and write down the changes I make! I’m looking forward to checking out your blog!

    • Thanks for letting me know, Joy! That’s very exciting about your move and I will certainly follow you as soon as you do! I have been wanting to take that step myself, but I haven’t gotten around to it (or researched it much) yet. I’ve also been brainstorming new blog names for when that time does come. :) Hopefully I’ll be following you to wordpress.org soon!

As a result, if you were following Can’t Stay Out of the Kitchen via email, WordPress, or using RSS feeds through Google Reader or some other way, you are no longer subscribed.
